FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT’S ABLIN HOUSE
Role: Creative Direction, Strategy, Publishing, Photography, Experience Design
Commissioned by the owner of one of Frank Lloyd Wright's final Usonian homes, I explored how the Ablin House could be positioned as a premier international architectural destination and luxury vacation experience.
The project began with market research and strategic planning, bringing together leading interior designers, restoration specialists, landscape architects, photographers, and preservation experts to evaluate the property's potential. To communicate the home's architectural significance and inspire future collaborators, I documented the residence through a comprehensive visual study, producing more than 250 high-resolution photographs from 32 carefully composed viewpoints that celebrate Wright's remarkable spatial design and craftsmanship.
The resulting publication serves as both an archival record and a design study, demonstrating how thoughtful storytelling, photography, and publishing can reveal the enduring beauty of one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most significant residential works while supporting its long-term preservation and repositioning.
