Michael Murphy.
Senior Creative / Author / Exhibitor / Artist

As a multi-disciplinary creative, I bring a sophisticated design sensibility, creative leadership, and a hands-on approach to every project. I thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering memorable campaigns under tight deadlines while ensuring every detail aligns with brand strategy and pushes creative boundaries. I have led design teams, multi-location photo shoots, and immersive multimedia experiences—always blending strategy with design to create compelling, effective advertising.

My work spans campaigns and experiences for brands including AT&T, Discover, Blue Cross Blue Shield, DirecTV, Yokohama Tire, Mattel, T-Mobile, Verisign, Kroger, and Mercury Insurance.

I have also designed exhibits that traveled nationally and were cited by the Smithsonian, and I have published several books—most recently Googie Modern: Architectural Drawings of Armet Davis Newlove, published by Angel City Press.

On the rare occasion I do make ART.

I was classically trained in Paul Buckner’s sculpture department in figurative art, at the University of Oregon, where I also walked-on to the basketball team. I then transferred to University of Southern California, where I studied under art icons Ken Price, John Mason, and Robbie Conal.
